THE PRICING OF POWDER UNIVERSE TRIPS

Flights:

Preferably, we sell our trips without flights, and you can almost always purchase our trips without flights if you wish to do so. However, we often also provide a price that includes the flights we have chosen. This is the case, for example, in Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Macedonia. These flights come in two different types:

a) Fixed prices, group rates. A group reservation that we have made for these flights. Usually, these flights are booked with a traditional older airline such as Finnair, Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, etc. Group reservations always have a minimum number of participants, for example, 6 or 10, and if we don't have this many participants, the group reservation is canceled. In such cases, separate flight reservations need to be made, which are often more expensive. In these situations, we negotiate with our customers whether to purchase the more expensive flights or to cancel the trip altogether.

Generally, the group reservation needs to be confirmed 2-3 months before departure. This is the case, for example, with trips to Macedonia, i.e., if we don't have enough participants for the Macedonian trips in early December, we might cancel them, and the reservation fee will be refunded.

b) Dynamic pricing. We have calculated our prices that include flights using the flight price available on the internet, but we haven't made any binding flight reservations. This is the case, for instance, on trips to Georgia and Kazakhstan. In these cases, the price of our journey (including the flight) gradually increases as the flight price on the airline's website goes up.

NOTE: The price of the trip doesn't increase for customers who have already booked their trip; the new price applies only to new reservations. This pricing system is exactly the same as when booking flights online in general. Tomorrow's price may not be the same as today's price. So, remember: The earlier you book the trip, the more likely you are to get it at a lower cost.
